Listening is probably the trickiest skills to develop in Young Learners. Kids are usually not the best listeners even in their mother tongue, their attention span is short, they get distracted easily and their language level is usually low. And the thing is that we need our primary and pre-primary students to listen - to hear our instructions and our presentation, to interact with their peers, to complete the activities and to develop their skills.
In this session, I am going to share a variety of listening tasks appropriate for primary and pre-primary groups that will work well in the classroom and will have the students to become better listeners.
